Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Europe is looking for a new person to join our team in the role of Senior Automation Tester to work with us on one of our projects in the banking area.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Automation Tester to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll help build a world-class digital platform from scratch, ensuring quality and reliability are baked into every stage of development.
You’ll design and implement robust automation frameworks, champion an automation-first mindset, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver exceptional products at speed. Responsabilidades e atribuições
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web and backend services.
- Build and execute automated test suites using Playwright and Cypress, covering functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Work closely with development teams to embed testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring rapid, reliable, and high-quality releases.
- Contribute to unit testing strategy and best practices, collaborating with engineers to improve test coverage and code quality.
- Champion a culture of automation-first testing, continuously identifying opportunities to reduce manual testing and accelerate delivery.
- Integrate tests seamlessly into the development lifecycle and ensure they are executed as part of continuous integration workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure quality is considered from the start.
- Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and approaches to strengthen our automation strategy.
Requisitos e qualificações
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester / QA Engineer in a product-led, agile development environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress for automated testing.
- Solid understanding of unit testing practices and frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, JUnit).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps in a Dev environment.
- A deep understanding of automation principles and a passion for reducing manual testing.
Desirable:
- Experience testing AI/ML-powered applications or working on greenfield projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with performance, security, or contract testing.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated environments (nice to have, not essential).
